By: Dr. Samir K. Sinha, Lead, Ontario’s Seniors Strategy. Highlights and Key Recommendations from the Report submitted to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care and the Minister Responsible for Seniors on recommendations to inform a Seniors Strategy for Ontario.

Champlain LHIN Accomplishments 2011-12
This two-page document highlights the accomplishments that fall under each of the LHIN’s priorities outlined in our strategic Integrated Health Service Plan 2010-2013.

2010-2011 Annual Report
This was a year of innovation and transition for the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). Older projects evolved, and important new programs got underway. The LHIN continued to bring communities and providers together to create a stronger, more coordinated health system. Our organization implemented creative solutions to local challenges, building on past successes while exploring options to meet future health care needs.

These highlights fall under the LHIN’s priorities outlined in our Integrated Health Service Plan 2010-2013.

2012-13 Annual Business Plan
The Annual Business Plan is the more detailed plan of initiatives the LHIN will implement in a 12-month period to achieve the goals of its IHSP, and meet its MLPA commitments. The Agency Establishment and Accountability Directive requires that the LHIN, as a provincial agency, be accountable to the government for using public resources and that a business plan be produced annually.
