Health Professionals Advisory Committee
This committee, governed under a regulation of the Local Health System Integration Act 2006, plays a crucial role as a collective voice of health professionals at a time of great challenges in the health-care system. Members were selected from a pool of more than 90 applicants, and represent different health professions, health sectors, and geographical areas of our region. It is expected that each committee member will serve to represent the region as a whole while providing strategic advice to support the work of the Champlain LHIN.
Inaugural members are appointed for an initial term of three years, and may be appointed for an additional term of two years.
