Champlain LHIN Statement – Stroke Rehabilitation Services at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital

January 24, 2018 - The Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) has been working with partners on how best to improve patients’ access to rehabilitation services across the region.

Recently, members of the public have told us that they are concerned about what this may mean for the stroke rehabilitation program at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital. The Champlain LHIN would like to assure people that no decisions have been made regarding hospital rehabilitation services. A number of options are still being reviewed.

An important part of this work is to examine how any proposed changes would impact small hospitals and their patients.

The LHIN is committed to engaging with communities and individuals. If any changes are proposed to rehabilitation services in Champlain, the public will have a meaningful opportunity to provide feedback.
